Flagstaff, Arizona — March 2026

Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse (NAYL/NAZ LAX) is proud to announce the launch of its official website and the formation of its new Arizona nonprofit corporation, marking an exciting first step in bringing more youth lacrosse opportunities to communities across Northern Arizona.

Created to serve families in Northern Arizona communities, NAYL was founded with a simple but important purpose: to help more kids access the game of lacrosse in a fun, inclusive, recreational environment that builds confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a love of sport.

The launch of this website gives parents, community members, donors, and supporters a central place to learn more about the organization’s mission, follow updates, explore future programming, and connect with the team as NAYL begins building its foundation.

Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse was established in 2026 to foster youth development through inclusive recreational boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, while also working to reduce barriers to participation through scholarships, equipment access, and community support. As the organization grows, its focus will remain on creating safe, welcoming, development-first opportunities for kids and families throughout the region.

For many families in Northern Arizona, access to youth lacrosse has been limited by geography, travel demands, and cost. NAYL was created to help change that. By building a local recreational program model, the organization hopes to make the sport more accessible while strengthening youth athletics and community connection in the process.

This launch is just the beginning. In the months ahead, Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse will continue developing its organizational structure, pursuing federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, building partnerships, and sharing updates about future clinics, programming, volunteer opportunities, sponsorships, and ways for families to get involved.

NAYL welcomes support from parents, coaches, officials, local businesses, media, donors, and community members who believe in the value of youth sports and want to help grow recreational lacrosse in Northern Arizona.

To stay connected, learn more, or reach out, please explore the website and follow along as Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse begins this exciting new chapter!
